The Integral Head Procurement BD&L; – Bio Platform is a senior Procurement executive responsible for shaping the commercial and contractual foundation of Sandoz’s biologics partnerships and external value chain. Acting as a strategic partner at the intersection of BD&L;, Development, Technical Operations, and Finance, the role ensures all external partnerships, licensing agreements, and supply models are structurally competitive, risk-balanced, and aligned with the long-term strategy of the Bio Platform.
Your Key Responsibilities:

Procurement Leadership in BD&L; and Deal Structuring




Lead Procurement across BD&L; transactions from early assessment to execution, defining and negotiating commercial models, pricing mechanisms, and contractual structures.
Assess the financial health of any new partner to safeguard a successful long-term partnership.
Drive economic competitiveness, scalability, and supply feasibility of deals, ensuring full cost transparency (incl. should-cost perspectives) and alignment with Procurement and platform strategy.
Represent Procurement in Investment Committees and BD&L; governance forums.
Commercial Excellence and Value Creation
Design and implement best-in-class commercial constructs (pricing models, risk-sharing, raw material strategies) to drive lifecycle cost optimization.
Structure contracts to secure long-term value, with value-based clauses, KPIs, flexibility, and protection against cost escalation and leakage.
Drive structural COGS competitiveness and capture cross-portfolio synergies.
