Job description

The Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities at the University of Deusto invites applications for a full-time faculty position (Teaching and Research Staff – PDI) in the field of International Relations at the Bilbao campus.

This position offers an excellent professional opportunity to join an internationally oriented academic environment, with a strong focus on teaching in English, research development and contribution to the academic and institutional mission of the University of Deusto.

The successful candidate will actively contribute to undergraduate and graduate-level teaching as well as undertake research activities in International Relations in coordination with the Department.

The selected candidate will participate in the following functions:
- Teach undergraduate courses in different areas within the field of International Relations, fully delivered in English.
- Supervise undergraduate projects
- Participate in career development and academic guidance activities for International Relations students.




- Contribute to the academic coordination and continuous improvement of the International Relations programme.
- Actively participate in research activities within the area of International Relations, with the objective of contributing to publications and academic output.
- Engage in departmental and faculty-level academic management and service activities.

Requirements
- PhD in International Relations or a closely related discipline.
- High level
