Job Summary:
Supermicro is seeking a top-notch hands-on Sr. Software Engineer with exceptional networking software development experience to join our rapidly growing switch department. In this role, you will be involved in the design, development, and testing of switching software products. This position will be based at our headquarters in San Jose, CA. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Networking Software Design & Development: End-to-end ownership of one or more apps in the Super Fabric Manager (SFM) software. Understand and translate requirements into functional specs, design, implement, and review software. Present and discuss design decisions clearly in team meetings.
Collaboration & mentoring: Collaborate with technical leads and product managers to meet project goals. Mentor teammates on best practices and architecture. Actively join team discussions, share feedback, and use strong verbal skills to drive collaboration and clarity.
Software Testing Automation: Build tools and scripts for continuous development and integration (CD/CI), software automation for the white box and black box testing, validate problem descriptions, perform detailed diagnostics, and resolve issues quickly.
Documentation & Communication: Ensure comprehensive documentation, create user guides and write up methodolog
