JOB SUMMARY:

High-performance product team in Supermicro is seeking talented Storage System
Engineer who can lead the technical collateral development of in-house storage
system products. This individual will have the opportunity to define and
implement latest data center and storage technologies, and to create proof of
concepts and technical features to differentiate Supermicro product with others,
and collaborate with storage ISV partners or end customers. This individual




will also be the go-to person for product managers and system engineers to be
the subject of matter expert in storage application benchmarks specifically in
network, database, and AI related storage.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may
also be assigned):
• Root Cause Diagnosis: Identify and analyze the root cause of system failures,
isolating specific components or failure nodes to implement effective
solutions.
• Emergency Response: Provide prompt responses to critical system failures,
devising remedies for catastrophic events as needed.
• Test Report Development: Generate and publish comprehensive test reports,
effectively communicating findings and insights to team members.
• Test Automation: Utilize basic scripting skills to automate validation tests,
increasing efficiency in testing processes.
