Experteer Overview
In this role you will architect and evolve the operational data perimeter for Energy Trading, building scalable, cloud-native data solutions. You will lead a senior team to transform raw data into reliable insights using AWS-based data engineering, analytics, and AI-driven approaches. You’ll collaborate with traders, IT, and business stakeholders to shape data strategy, ensure quality, and deliver high-impact analytics. This is a hands-on leadership position with a strong focus on data architecture, governance, and business impact.

• Lead design and development of the Energy Trading data platform and operational data perimeter; mentor data engineers, analysts, and developers
• Design and manage cloud-native data architectures using IaC for scalable, secure, cost-effective solutions
• Build and optimize AWS-based data pipelines ensuring data quality, governance, lineage, security, and compliance
• Develop data models, curated datasets, dashboards, and analytics supporting Trading, Risk, and Operations
• Foster adoption of AI/ML for forecasting, automation, optimization, and anomaly detection
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into impactful data solutions




• Oversee reliability, availability, and performance of the cloud data platform

Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or cloud data architecture
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services (Glue, Lambda, S3, Athena, Redshift, EMR, Kinesis, Step Functions)
• ETL/ELT design, data modeling, and distributed data processing expertise
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data engineering and analytics
• Experience building dashboards (Power BI, QuickSight, Grafana, or similar)
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK)
• Familiarity with machine learning workflows and AI-driven solution design
