Company from the Oil & Gas industry is looking for aProcurement Section Lead for Saudi Arabia .The candidates must have experiencie as a Procurement Section Lead and knowledge as a Subcontracting Buyer for Oil and Gas insdustry.Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate all the activities necessary topurchase goods and/or services/subcontracts carried out by buyers.Issue purchase orders/subcontracts within the assignmentpower of attorney, if any, or coordinate the process and related workflow up to the Purchase Order signature by the deputed person.Report to the Procurement function about the activities of the assigned team of buyers.Assign purchasing request to a specified buyer to start up the procurement processDefine/approve the bidder list taking into account projectand operating requirements,



market knowledge and other possible internal needsApprove the Request for Quotations prepared by buyersCheck and/or approve the commercial/economic tabulation tocompare different proposals prepared by buyersSupervise the commercial/economic negotiationCheck and/or approve the purchase order/subcontract prepared by buyersSupport and coordinate the buyers in performing day by dayactivitiesPromote the market knowledge/scoutingTake care about buyers training and professional knowledgeEnsure confidentiality obligation abouttechnical/commercial/economical info received through the vendor proposals andManage claims and transactionsCheck the technical documentation received with the Purchase Requisition and Technical evaluationSupport the Buyer during feedback activitiesExperienced with CIVIL/MECHANICAL/E&I; Subcontracts
