As part of our Clinical Research and Registry Department, you’ll join a team driving the evolution of one of the world’s largest patient registries, helping to enhance data quality, support innovation and improve patient outcomes worldwide.Our missionSave and improve the lives of patients with blood-related disorders.Your missionAs a Data Steward, you will be responsible for the governance, quality assurance and harmonisation of Registry data, ensuring alignment with OMOP CDM standards and EBMT initiatives. Support Study Units and hospitals in data collection initiatives for EBMT Registry data and studies.Responsibilities and TasksData StewardshipDesign, implement and test new Data Collection Forms (DCFs), including versioning and harmonisation across form releases.Mapping of data collection forms to the OMOP CDMProviding input on data quality reportsConducting data quality campaigns on a regular basis and per request. Support query managers to effectively perform data quality activities in the RegistryDocumenting data policies and data standards,



contribute to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Review and provide feedback on study data collection initiativesProject Coordination and CommunicationCoordinate various data management related project activities within the Registry unit and other stakeholdersContribute to the development of the Registry infrastructure and functionalityCollaborate and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.TrainingCarry out and assist with Data Management related training to EBMT staff and membersDevelop written and visual training materialsRequirementsFluent in English, excellent oral and written skills.Degree in the field of Biomedical Sciences, Health Care and/or Bioinformatics or similar.Experience as Data Manager, Data Steward, Data Custodianor related in research.Experience with clinical databases, clinical standards (e.g. OMOP, CDISC) and vocabularies (e.g. SNOMED CT, MedDRA).Experience with GitHub.R, Python, and/or SQL experience.Familiarised with clinical and medical data (ideally haematology, immunology and/or HSC transplant programs and new cell therapies)GDPR and GCPGood communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with people in a multicultural / multilingual environment. Analytical thinking,



strong problem-solving skills. Detail-oriented, thorough. Proactive, able to adapt to a fast paced and ever changing work environment.
