You'll be an early engineer at Aldren, working directly with the founding team to build an AI-native product for regulatory teams in pharma and biotech.

What you’ll do

Build and own the core product interface — document viewers, annotation layers, review workflows

Design and implement APIs that connect AI systems to the front‑end in a reliable, low-latency way

Own the data layer — schema design, query performance, and data integrity in a compliance-sensitive environment

Work directly with customers to understand how they work and translate that into product decisions fast

Strong opinions on what AI‑native UX should look like

What we’re looking for





Demonstrated experience shipping full‑stack products end‑to‑end

Product‑minded — you think about the user experience, not just the implementation

Shipped AI products (not exclusive to LLMs) — you don’t need to build the models but you know how to build around them

Ability to move fast without creating a mess you’ll regret in six months

Curiosity about hard, document‑heavy domains with high accuracy requirements

Experience in Pharma / Biotech a plus but, curiosity is more important
