About the role:We are looking for an AI / Azure Foundry Engineer to accelerate our organisation's transition into AI-enabled smart automation. You will use Azure AI Foundry, Python, and advanced AI tooling to design intelligent automation solutions that eliminate repetitive work and improve process efficiency for our internal teams — with special focus on Payroll and Products.Beyond project delivery, you will help shape the engineering direction, reusable patterns, and technical standards for all AI-driven automation within the Smart Automation team.What You Will DoDesign and build automation solutions leveraging Azure AI Foundry capabilities, including model orchestration, vector search, secure prompt pipelines, and evaluation toolingDevelop and maintain Python-based AI services integrated with Foundry workflows, AI hubs, models, and datasetsCreate reusable AI components and best-practice patterns for other squads to adoptEstablish guidelines for prompt design, model governance, evaluation, and safe AI deployment using Azure Foundry frameworksLead discussions on AI architecture, responsible AI, and performance optimisationAutomation Delivery (Python, AI, Foundry Integration)Develop end-to-end intelligent automation solutions for internal customers, focusing on high-frequency, high-effort repetitive processesLeverage Azure AI Foundry to build solutions such as:Agentic automationRetrieval-augmented automation (RAA / RAG)Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems through secure APIs, microservices, and Python automation scriptsBuild pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, embeddings, and vector searchPartner closely with Payroll and Product SMEs to assess processes and identify AI automation opportunitiesTranslate business challenges into clear technical requirements and AI solution designsCommunicate AI concepts,
