? Hiring: OPS Security Engineer – Firewall & Proxy Filtering Services

? Location: Brussels, Belgium (Hybrid – 50% onsite / 50% remote)

We are looking for an experienced OPS Security Engineer to join a leading banking environment and contribute to the management and security of enterprise Firewall and Proxy Filtering Services.

? Key Responsibilities

• Manage and validate Firewall flow requests

• Implement and optimize Firewall rules and security policies

• Investigate and resolve Firewall-related incidents

• Support security audits, flow recertifications, and compliance activities

• Collaborate with project teams on secure network solutions

• Ensure Firewall configurations comply with security standards and regulatory requirements

? Required Skills & Experience

✔️ Minimum 5 years of experience in Firewall administration

✔️ Strong experience with Firewall technologies, IPS/IDS, and Cloud Micro-Segmentation

✔️ Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet solutions





✔️ Firewall rule implementation and policy optimization expertise

✔️ Incident management and troubleshooting experience

✔️ ServiceNow (ITSM) knowledge

✔️ Reporting and automation skills using Excel, VBA, and/or Python

✔️ Solid understanding of Networking, Security Architecture, and Security Principles

✔️ Experience working in Agile environments

? Certifications

? PCNSA (Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator)

? CompTIA Network+ and/or CCNA

? Languages

?? English – Mandatory

?? French – Desired

?? Dutch – Nice to have
