We're looking for an experienced Data Architect to join a leading organisation in Brussels. You'll play a key role in shaping enterprise data architecture, supporting a Data Mesh-driven strategy, and designing scalable solutions that align business objectives with modern data platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and govern solution and data architecture across strategic initiatives.
- Design data integration, application, and data platform solutions.
- Support Data Product Teams in defining domains and data products.
- Develop data models, architecture standards, and governance practices.
- Collaborate with business, engineering, and product teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Drive architecture reviews, PoCs, and technology evaluations.

Requirements

- Proven experience as a Data Architect or Solution Architect.
- Strong background in data integration, API-led and event-driven architectures.




- Expertise in data modelling, including conceptual and logical models.
- Experience with Data Mesh, Data Lakes, MDM, or modern data platforms.
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or ArchiMate.
- Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and Microservices.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Agile mindset with fluent English and Dutch and/or French.

Nice to Have

- Experience with Collibra, SAP Datasphere, SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of metadata management and data governance platforms.
