Position Summary

The Senior 3D Model Application Engineer is responsible for managing, coordinating, and supporting the implementation and administration of 3D engineering design applications and model environments throughout the Concept, FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, Construction, and Commissioning phases of ADNOC Offshore projects. The role ensures effective model management, multidisciplinary integration, data integrity, and compliance with ADNOC standards and project requirements for both Greenfield and Brownfield developments.





Key Responsibilities

Administer and maintain project 3D model environments, databases, and engineering design applications.
Configure and support Smart 3D (S3D), AVEVA E3D, or equivalent 3D modelling platforms used by EPC Contractors and the PMC team.
Coordinate multidisciplinary model integration across Process, Piping, Mechanical, Civil & Structural, Electrical, Instrumentation, Telecom, and HVAC disciplines.
Review EPC Contractor 3D model execution plans, modelling procedures, and project setup to ensure compliance with ADNOC standards and project specifications.
Ensure model quality, consistency, and compliance through regular audits and quality checks.
Support clash detection, model validation, and design coordination using Navisworks or equivalent software.
Coordinate model reviews with ADNOC, PMC, EPC Contractors, and other stakeholders.
