WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
In our team, you will contribute to the design and development of Space Missions within the Engineering & Studies Division, part of the Flight Segment & Robotics Business Unit.
In this position you will be responsible for:
Analyze mission and system requirements of space missions.
Coordinate the definition of mission and system architecture that could fulfil the mission and system requirements.
Coordinate the mission analysis activities, including orbit selection and space debris mitigation.
Participate in the selection and definition of the platform and payloads.
Contribute to the definition of the mission operations and the ground segment architecture.
Lead the refinement and detailing of the system requirements to the level of subsystem,
as the mission advances to implementation phases (B2C/D).
Complete the System Engineering Models with detailed information of all the sub-systems and components at platform, payload and ground segment level.
Lead the generation of the system budgets (mass, power, communications…).
Review the fulfilment of the system requirements at subsystem level.
WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?
We are looking for professionals with aerospace engineering knowledge and background in Space Missions, and with:
A Master of Science in aerospace engineering.
Working experience in system engineering (minimum 5 years).
We will also value:
Experience with Model Based System Engineering.
Experience in Mission Analysis.
Experience in the design of space mission payloads or spacecraft subsystems.
Proficiency in formal project documentation writing in English.
Experience with MS Office.
Experience in working in integrated teams with professionals
