We are seeking a

Strategic Equity Derivatives Trader

based in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid who will manage market risk, price and execute equity derivative instruments for institutional and corporate clients.

Responsibilities

Manage the market risk of the Strategic Equity Derivatives trading book in line with the desk's risk appetite and limits.

Price and execute Strategic Equity Derivatives transactions for institutional and corporate clients.

Work closely with Sales, Structuring, Risk, Quants and other Global Markets teams to deliver tailored client solutions.

Collaborate with trading teams across our global platform to ensure consistent pricing, risk management and client coverage.

Monitor market developments,



identify trading opportunities and implement effective hedging strategies.

Contribute to the continued development of the Strategic Equity Derivatives franchise through product expertise, innovation and process improvements.

Maintain the highest standards of governance, control and risk management while supporting the growth of the business.

Qualifications
Professional Experience

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a trading role within Global Markets.

Experience trading equity derivatives and managing market risk.

Experience with Strategic Equity Derivatives products or structured equity solutions (preferred).

Education

University degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or another quantitative discipline.

Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MSc or CFA) is advantageous (preferred).

Languages

English (required).

Spanish (preferred).
