Job Description

Job Purpose

To teach classes of pupils ensuring that planning, preparation, recording, assessment and reporting meet their varying learning and social needs. Teaching 30 h/week (Contact and Non-contact)



in

IBDP Business Management in both DP2 (9 hours per week) and DP1 (9 hours per week). In addition, the candidate will teach one Year 11 group (3 hours per week) and one Year 10 group (2 hours per week). The position also includes responsibilities as a Year 12 IB Form Tutor.

To be adaptable and adjust to the needs of an expanding school, actively contributing to its development and growth.

Areas of Responsibility and Key Tasks

TEACHING

Providing an inspiring and effective education in the relevant curriculum areas. Plan effective lessons that reflect the department Unit Planners. Lead lessons which reflect the school's Teaching and Learning Charter and effectively assess student progress in order to provide students with support and challenge where appropriate.
