We are currently recruiting for a Labor Relations Specialist to sit within the local market team, based in our Madrid office. You will be working closely with both internal departments and external suppliers at a local and EU level to support the business.
This is an opportunity for someone with solid expertise in employee relations and Spanish labor law to play a key role within UNIQLO Spain's growing HR function. You will oversee ER casework, Works Council relations, and collective negotiations, while advising managers and leadership on complex employee matters to ensure full legal compliance. The adecuado candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder retail environment. Strong communication, negotiation, and investigative skills are essential, along with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
What you will be responsible for:
Employee Relations & Case Management
- Manage disciplinary actions, misconduct investigations, and dismissal processes, ensuring legal compliance and accurate documentation.
- Support investigations into harassment, discrimination, and employee complaints in coordination with the HRBP and Legal.
Works Council & Employee Representation
- Act as a key contact for Works Councils, employee representatives, and trade unions.
- Coordinate and participate in consultations, meetings, and collective negotiations.
Labor Law, Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, collective agreements, and internal HR policies.
- Support labor inspections, conciliations, and external legal processes.
- Track ER cases and trends and contribute to policy and process improvements.
Advisory & Preventive Role
