We are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to join the Group Corporate Centre Legal team, with a particular focus on M&A;, while also supporting broader corporate centre matters. You will work in a diverse and versátil environment in close cooperation with colleagues in various jurisdictions, contributing to strategic initiatives that shape the future of our markets.
What You Will Do
Lead or support M&A; transactions, corporate reorganizations and other strategic Group initiatives.
Provide legal advice and support on other strategic, complex or time-sensitive matters where Corporate Centre input is required.
Prepare high-quality materials and deliver clear, concise legal input to support decision-making at senior management and board level.
Work closely with internal stakeholders, regulators and authorities, preparing key documentation and ensuring effective execution.
Lead or support cross-functional initiatives,



manage external counsel, and contribute to the development of legal processes, frameworks and tools.
What You Bring
Master's degree in law, admission to the bar in Spain or another relevant European jurisdiction and 5+ years of professional experience in a law firm or the financial sector.
Strong expertise in M&A; and corporate law; experience in competition law and/or financial market regulation is an advantage.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior leadership, board-level contacts, and external stakeholders.
Independent, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, with sound judgment, discretion and the ability to handle sensitive matters.
Affinity for technology and digital tools, including AI-enabled solutions; proficiency in Microsoft 365; fluency in English and Spanish.
