Program Overview
We are seeking an M&A; (Transactions) Tax professional (Analyst level) for our growing tax team in the Madrid office. This role will give you unique career opportunities in one of the fastest growing tax practices.
Responsibilities
- Providing advice in all aspects of transactions tax advisory work:
- Perform tax due diligence to assess significant tax risks that could jeopardize the transaction.
- Conduct pre-transaction analysis to evaluate existing tax attributes and identify potential tax value.
- Design tax structures by identifying various implementation and financing alternatives.
- Provide support and advice in negotiating share‑purchase agreement’s tax provisions.
- Implement acquisition structures and ensure compliance with related obligations.
- Analyze integration strategies and offer ongoing post‑transaction advice.
- Offer comprehensive tax advisory services to national and international clients, focusing on tax optimization and risk identification.
- Involved in business development and marketing initiatives.
- Work closely together with the members of A&M;’s global tax teams in locations such as the UK, US, Netherlands, Dubai and many more.
- Focus on advisory work with limited time spent on compliance and administrative tasks.

Qualifications
- A university degree in Law and/or Economics/Business Administration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
- Experience with M&A;/general tax preferable.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication, presentation, project management, and business development skills.
- Ability to simultaneously work on several projects and effectively manage deadlines.
- High motivation to learn and grow; detail‑oriented and strong organizational skills.
