You will play a key role in building and maintaining robust backend services, contributing to architectural decisions, and improving existing platforms.This role requires strong PHP and Laravel experience, along with a solid understanding of modern backend principles, distributed systems, and clean architecture.Key Responsibilities• Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems• Build and maintain RESTful APIs connecting frontend applications, databases, and third-party services• Develop backend services using PHP and Laravel within modern architectures• Apply clean architecture principles, SOLID practices, and maintain high code quality• Work with relational and non-relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL,



and Redis• Contribute to microservices-based systems using Docker and containerised environments• Refactor and improve legacy codebases for performance and maintainability• Implement unit and integration testing to ensure reliability• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver end-to-end solutions• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practicesRequirements• 4+ years of backend development experience with strong PHP and Laravel expertise• Experience building and scaling applications in high-traffic environments• Strong understanding of clean architecture, DDD, and SOLID principles• Experience working with microservices and distributed systems• Hands-on experience with Docker and modern development workflows• Strong knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL• Experience with NoSQL technologies xcskxlj such as Redis, MongoDB, or Elasticsearch• Familiarity with message brokers such as RabbitMQ or Kafka• Experience with testing practices such as TDD and unit testing• Strong experience with Git and version control workflows• Experience working with Composer and PHP tooling (PHPStan, PHPMD)Nice to Have• Experience working with AI tools or building AI-driven features• Exposure to CQRS patterns• Experience integrating with complex third-party APIsCommunication Requirements• Conversational Spanish required• Intermediate English requiredProcess• Two-stage interview process• Fully remote role
