Key Responsibilities

- Responsible for the development and maintenance of key platform services interfacing with large language models required for building conversational agents.
- Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility.
- Work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high‑quality software against tight schedules.
- Lead the development and launch of core product features. Influence overall strategy by helping define product features, drive system architecture, and spearhead best practices that enable a quality product.

The minimum base pay salary for this position is PLN 19,166 monthly. Total compensation may include additional components such as sign‑on payment, restricted stock units, and company‑wide benefits including health insurance, pension plans, and commuter benefits.

A day in the life: As an SDE on the Alexa team, you will develop high‑performance, low‑latency, advanced runtime engineering solutions to advance Conversational Assistant agents.



Your work will directly impact products and services through multimodal large‑language models (LLMs) and Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) to improve Conversational Excellence. Leveraging Amazon’s heterogeneous data sources and large‑scale computing resources will accelerate development.

About the team: Join our Alexa team at the forefront of artificial intelligence innovation. Collaborate with scientists and engineers to develop next‑generation conversational assistant capabilities using advanced LLM techniques.

Basic Qualifications

- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object‑oriented design.
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
- Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Experience working on Machine Learning applications.
- Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility tradeoffs.
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non‑technical stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
