Important (Mandatory Requirements)
Residence in: Barcelona

Languages: English-Advanced or Native / Spanish-Advanced or Native

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience

Responsibilities
As a Junior Corporate Legal Counsel, you will support the legal department across several critical areas:

Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including NDAs, Supplier Agreements, and Outsourcing contracts, among others.

Operational Support: Provide practical legal advice and solutions for day-to-day business challenges and operational queries.

Compliance & Due Diligence: Assist in Client Due Diligence (CDD/KYB) and onboarding processes, ensuring all required corporate documentation is gathered and verified.

Process Improvement: Assist and participate in the creation, review, and optimization of internal company processes to enhance efficiency and risk management.

Legal Research:



Track and analyse relevant legal developments, new laws, and regulations affecting the company’s sector.

Legal Organization: Manage the filing, tracking, and organization of all corporate legal documentation.

Requirements

Experience: 1-3 years of proven legal experience gained within a reputable law firm or an in-house legal department, with a specific focus on Corporate and Commercial Law.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B. or equivalent) + Master is highly appreciated.

Languages: Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) are mandatory, as 70% of the workload is conducted in English.

Legal Knowledge: A strong foundational understanding of commercial contracts and corporate governance.
