Job Description
Our client is expanding their hardware engineering team and is looking for a PCB Senior / Lead Engineer to drive the design and development of advanced hardware systems that support high performance processor solutions.

In this role, you will lead PCB design activities across the full development cycle, from concept to production. You will define PCB architecture, contribute to system level decisions, and guide a team of engineers in delivering complex multi layer board designs.

You will collaborate closely with Physical Design and Post Silicon Validation teams to ensure high quality, reliable and market ready hardware, aligned with industry standards and performance requirements.

Location : Barcelona, Spain - Hybrid

Responsibilities:
As a Printed Circuit Board Senior / Lead , your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Senior PCB Engineer

Define and drive PCB architecture based on input from multiple stakeholders

Design and develop complex multi layer PCBs from concept to production

Perform signal integrity and power integrity analysis to ensure optimal performance

Manage routing for high pin count components, small ball pitch devices and complex packages

Ensure compatibility with industry standards, interfaces and form factors

Collaborate closely with Physical Design and Post Silicon Validation teams

Support validation, testing and certification activities

Track design revisions, documentation and production processes

Ensure delivery of high quality and reliable hardware solutions

Responsibilities for Lead PCB Engineer

Lead and mentor a team of PCB design and layout engineers

Define overall PCB design strategy and architecture direction across projects

Own project planning, task allocation and milestone tracking

Act as main technical decision maker for complex design challenges

Coordinate cross functional teams and align with system and silicon stakeholders

Drive improvements in design methodology,



tools and processes

Requirements:
Senior PCB Engineer

8+ years of experience in PCB design and development

Strong experience with PCB design tools such as Siemens, Cadence or Altium

Hands‑on experience with signal and power integrity analysis tools (for example HyperLynx)

Strong background in multi layer PCB design and routing

Experience with high speed interfaces such as PCIe, DDR or LPDDR

Experience working with high density components, large packages and small ball pitch devices

Strong understanding of power distribution in high frequency environments

Familiarity with industry standards, hardware interfaces and form factors

Experience with documentation, revision control and production processes

Experience supporting validation, testing and certification is a plus

Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail

English level C1

Bachelor, Master or PhD in Electronics, Engineering or related field

Additional Requirements for Lead PCB Engineer

Proven experience leading teams or managing PCB design projects

Ability to define and drive PCB architecture at system level

Experience coordinating cross functional teams across hardware development lifecycle

Strong ownership of project delivery, timelines and technical decisions

Ability to mentor engineers and support team development
