We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher interested in applying for a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship 2026 with Mice Lab at the University of Girona, Spain.Our research focuses on artificial intelligence for diabetes care. We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in:large language models (LLMs) and foundation models for diabetes careagentic AI and autonomous AI systems in diabetesmachine learning and clinical decision supportglucose prediction and digital twinsautomated insulin deliverywearable devices and continuous glucose monitoring dataPossible research directions include multimodal foundation models combining clinical, glucose, behavioural, and wearable data; trustworthy AI agents supporting patients and healthcare professionals; and the use of LLMs to improve diabetes education, decision support, and personalised care.The selected candidate will work with the Mice Lab team to develop a competitive MSCA proposal based on their own research profile and ideas.
