Mutares SE & Co. Mutares actively supports its portfolio companies with its own investment and operations teams and through strategic add‑on acquisitions. The focus is on companies with revenues ranging from EUR 100 million to EUR 750 million, across various industries. The aim is to achieve a clear value increase with a focus on sustainable, long‑term growth of the portfolio company.

Your Tasks

Manage the restructuring and improvement processes for our portfolio companies on‑site to implement and improve sound cash management processes on‑site

Partner closely with the Mutares restructuring team by conducting financial analyses, developing and integrating financial models, and critically evaluating business cases

Prepare and execute financing solutions (factoring, asset‑based funding, credit lines)

Improve financial statement closing and other finance/controlling processes and assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit

Manage the relationship with external stakeholders (auditors,



financial advisers, banks, credit insurers, etc.)

Your Profile

Successfully completed a Finance degree or similar with outstanding results

At least 6 years of experience in a Big4/Management Consulting firm (preferably restructuring focused) or Controlling/Finance department of an industry firm (preferably with exposure to restructuring situation)

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and hands‑on approach

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Business fluency in Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate in a well‑structured and concise manner

Willingness to travel up to 4 days per week (typically Monday – Thursday) and to work in an international environment
