In this role you will advance Hitachi Energy’s distribution transformer design platform within the CDSe team. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into features and verify implementations, while ensuring performance and reliability. You will test and validate transformer design parameters, provide end-user training, and leverage industry trends to continually improve the platform.

This role offers impact through shaping transformer design tools for integral factories and customers, in a diverse, innovation-driven environment.

- Prepare software specifications and verify implemented features
- Develop test cases and lead end-user test sessions
- Perform validation and root-cause analysis of transformer parameters

- Monitor feedback and improve platform performance
- Coordinate with Hub Engineering to accelerate CDS implementation in factories
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies and incorporate them into the platform
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and guidelines

Responsabilidades

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in design of dry-type or liquid transformers
- Strong knowledge of design principles, materials, manufacturing, and testing xugodme of transformers
- Awareness of different transformer technologies
- Experience or interest in software development (macro development, Excel automation tools)
- Proactive, self-motivated with strong ownership
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams
- Strong communication skills in English
