Overview

An exciting opportunity has come up for an experienced womenswear designer to join a supplier in Madrid. You will be designing for accounts such as Zara and other trend driven retailers, so Inditex experience would be highly beneficial. The role includes design on trend womens wovens, collaborating with the design team and overseeing research, conducting design presentations, and working closely with buyers and merchandisers of the retailers. You will coordinate with the technical department. This is a fabulous chance to join a lovely supplier working with some great general retailers.

Responsibilities

- Design on trend womens wovens
- Work with the design team and oversee research within the team
- Conduct design presentations
- Work closely with buyers and merchandisers of the retailers
- Coordinate with the technical department

Qualifications

- Previous experience with womens wovens is a must
- Able to speak English and Spanish would be beneficial
- A current portfolio including CADs and hand sketches
- Experience working with Zara, and Indian suppliers
