Experteer Overview
As AI Designer for OverWatch Rush, you will design and implement AI behaviors that create dynamic, balanced battles for mobile platforms within the Overwatch universe. You’ll collaborate with designers and engineers to define AI systems, fine-tune difficulty, and ensure AI works across maps and modes in a live-service title. This role combines hands-on AI crafting with systemic thinking to deliver engaging, scalable gameplay experiences. You’ll join an inclusive team that values innovation and player-centric design, offering a meaningful impact on millions of players.

• Design and implement AI behaviors and enemy positioning to deliver fun, dynamic gameplay
• Hands-on building of AI behaviors and bot coordination using visual scripting and other tools
• Define and improve AI systems for the title
• Maintain clear AI documentation and collaborate with design and engineering teams
• Ensure AI supports new maps, modes, and ongoing balancing for a live-service title




• Collaborate with the tech team to implement AI using designed tools
• Tune AI difficulty to be challenging but fair, using data and playtest feedback
• Stay current with AI industry standards and technologies

Responsabilidades
• Strong systemic thinker with ability to see the big picture of AI in the game ecosystem
• Real-world experience designing and implementing game AI (shipped titles a bonus)
• Experience writing user stories to define AI requirements
• Strong technical skills in visual scripting and AI decision-making (e.g., utility AI, state machines, behavior trees)
• Excellent communication to liaise with tech and non-tech teammates
• Understanding of gameplay balancing and AI tuning for player experience
• Collaborative mindset and ability to give/receive feedback
