About the Role

As a Senior Linux System Administrator in our Managed Service Platform Operations (MSPO) team, you will manage, automate, and optimize our server platforms (bare metal and virtualized), ensuring high-quality service delivery for cloud and hosting services. You’ll work hands‑on, troubleshoot complex issues, and continuously improve our platforms through automation and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Ensure smooth daily operations of managed service platforms.
- Administer Linux servers globally.
- On‑call support as a 3rd-level agent for customer tickets (max one week per month).
- Automate recurring tasks using Bash, Perl, Python,



and Ansible.
- Troubleshoot Linux systems, Apache servers, and MySQL databases.
- Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and customers.
- Maintain documentation and follow best practices.

Requirements

- Advanced Linux system administration skills.
- Experience in Bash, Perl, or Python scripting.
- Troubleshooting experience with Linux, Apache, and MySQL.
- Experience with Ansible automation.
- Familiarity with ticketing and collaboration tools (OTRS, Jira, Confluence).
- Strong problem‑solving skills, proactive mindset, attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and customer‑oriented attitude.
- Hybrid work preference (Valencia, Barcelona, Sevilla, Alcobendas or Logroño´s offices)
