CHIEF OFFICER - 49M PRIVATE/CHARTER M/Y

We are currently seeking an experienced Chief Officer to join a 49m Motor Yacht with a dynamic private/charter programme and an exciting long-term itinerary.

Position Details:

- Start Date: May 2026
- Location: Palma de Mallorca
- Programme: Private/Charter
- Itinerary: Mediterranean → Atlantic Crossing → USA → Caribbean (Winter) → Pacific (end of 2026)

Package:

- Salary: 7,500-8,500 USD DOE
- Leave: 3.5 days per month (currently under review)
- Bonus: 13th month bonus
- Tips: Charter tips when applicable
- Medical: Covered on and off the vessel

Key Requirements:

- Valid Chief Mate CoC (minimum OOW 3000GT / Chief Mate preferred)
- STCW & ENG1 in date




- Proven experience as Chief Officer or strong 2nd Officer ready to step up on similar-sized yachts
- Strong leadership and deck management skills
- Solid experience with bridge operations, passage planning, and ISM procedures
- Hands‑on approach with deck operations, maintenance, and crew management
- B1/B2 visa

- Candidates should be confident managing deck team and supporting the Captain in all operational aspects
- Dual private/charter programme with a busy and varied itinerary
