Overview
Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Project Development Manager – base options include London, Madrid, or Milan.
Location: Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of BESS projects across Europe, depending on base location, and oversee grid connection applications and negotiations with DNOs.
Manage the planning process, liaising with local authorities and stakeholders, and build strong relationships with landowners and project partners.
Take BESS projects from origination through to Ready-To-Build status.
Key Skills / Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience in BESS project development in the European market; solar PV experience is a plus.
Strong knowledge of planning, grid, and land acquisition processes, as well as stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
