Join Our Leadership Team at My English School

We’re looking for a passionate and dynamic Director of Studies to play a key role

in shaping the academic vision of our school. If you’re an experienced educator

with strong leadership skills, a love for developing teachers, and a commitment to

Our school operates year-round, with brief closures over Christmas & New Year,

and in August for summer, offering a balanced and predictable schedule.

Our opening hours are:

Monday to Friday: 10:00–21:00

Saturday: 10:00–14:00

*Your Role in our Community

At My English School, the Director of Studies is central to both academic

excellence and team development. This is a hands-on leadership role that

combines teaching, mentoring, and strategic oversight.

A full-time Director of Studies will:

● Oversee the academic quality and consistency of all teaching across the

school

● Support, mentor, and develop the teaching team through observations,

feedback, and training

● Deliver engaging, high-quality lessons as part of the teaching schedule

● Coordinate timetables and ensure effective course planning

● Lead regular training sessions and professional development initiatives

● Collaborate closely with both the school and didactic teams

● Monitor student progress and ensure high standards of academic

achievement

● Plan and oversee English-language events and student engagement

activities

● Contribute to a positive, energetic, and professional school environment

JOB SUMMARY

At My English School, the Director of Studies leads academic quality while

supporting teacher development. This hands-on role includes teaching,

mentoring, and school leadership. Responsibilities include maintaining teaching

standards, coaching teachers through observations and training, teaching

classes, coordinating timetables, monitoring student progress, planning events,

and working closely with the school team to deliver an outstanding learning

experience.
