At Irizar Forge, a leading industrial forging company based in Gipuzkoa (Lazkao) and part of Royal Van Beest Group, we are looking for a Quality Controller to join our team.

Job Purpose

-

- Ensure compliance with established quality requirements.

- Coordinate inspection and testing activities.

- Manage deviations and non-conformities.

- Provide technical support to operations.

- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Main responsibilities

-

- Prepare and manage Inspection Plans.

- Coordinate and supervise inspection and testing teams (NDT, DT and load testing).

- Monitor manufacturing processes and identify deviations.

- Manage internal and supplier non-conformities.

- Provide technical support on the shop floor regarding quality-related issues.

- Coordinate and manage customer inspections.

- Define, design and manage inspection and testing fixtures and tooling.

- Manage the calibration of equipment and measuring instruments.

- Participate in product and process improvement projects.

Requirements

-

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering,



Industrial Engineering or a related field, or equivalent proven experience.

- Experience in industrial environments, preferably within the metalworking or mechanical industry.

- Knowledge of metrology, NDT/DT testing and engineering drawing interpretation.

- Experience working with SAP.

- Proficiency in design software (SolidWorks or equivalent).

- Advanced level of English.

- Strong organizational, planning and decision-making skills.

- Excellent communication skills and a results-oriented mindset.
