## Embedded Firmware Engineer Applylocations:Valencia, Valencia- ESPtime type:Full timeposted on:Posted Todayjob requisition id:NX-4295**Job Description:**JOB MISSION: As a firmware developer, you will participate in the development of new projects, as well as create new features to improve and maintain existing embedded FW applications, mainly based on the TI C2000 family, developing complete applications dedicated to the management and control of electrical power devices. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Use the official UTI-SW code development, version control, and code documentation tools.
- Use collaborative work tools in accordance with the Qo S plan
- Execute SW development processes in accordance with Qo S.
- Follow the SW working methodology, as defined in Qo S.
- Responsibility for the quality of the software they develop
- Responsibility for meeting development deadlines agreed upon in the Sprint Planning.
- Responsibility for reviewing and approving code merges in Git Lab, and compliance with code versioning rules, collaborative work in Git Lab and ticket management in Redmine, in accordance with Qo S. JOB FUNCTIONS : Usual/Daily:
- SW specification analysis.
- Design, development and maintenance of embedded applications for ZGR products.
- Preparation and maintenance of design documents.
- Debugging, unit testing, and software verification.




- Participation in the daily scrums of the developments in which I participate. Periodic/Occasional:
- Participation in Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews and Retrospectives.
- Support to other departments.
- Analysis and testing at customer facilities in cases of support to other departments.
- Training, supervision and mentoring of less experienced members. Minimum academic qualifications: Engineering or university degree in a science field Required professional experience Essential Knowledge/Experience
- Development of well-structured and documented software
- Experience and proficiency in C programming Desirable Knowledge/Experience
- Work experience as an embedded software developer for microprocessors
- Experience developing embedded systems for Solar and/or Storage inverters
- Experience in code documentation with Doxygen
- Experience designing and implementing Unit Tests (UTs)
- Programming experience Python Experience with Git Lab for version control Skills:
- Ability to define SW architectures for complex products.
- Ability to define SW specifications from very high level or even non-existent requirements for new products.
