You will play a critical role in building and optimizing our data pipeline architecture and ensuring data quality across all our systems.As a Senior Data Engineer, you will work closely with our cross-functional teams in Barcelona and across Europe, collaborating with our development teams, machine learning engineers, and data scientists. You will be responsible for understanding complex vehicle data, building robust data pipelines, and implementing data quality processes that support our analytics and machine learning initiatives.In this role, you will be the bridge between raw vehicle telemetry or fleet data and actionable insights, ensuring that our data infrastructure can scale with our growing customer base while maintaining high standards of data quality and accessibility.Design, build, and maintain efficient data pipeline architectures using AWS services (Dynamo DB, S3, Lambda, SQS) and DatabricksDevelop processes to monitor and improve data quality, completeness, and consistency across vehicle telemetry data sourcesCollaborate with ML Engineers and Data Scientists to prepare and deliver clean, validated data for research and model developmentAnalyze and understand complex vehicle data from various sources, including telematics devices and OEM connectionsDocument data flows, models,



and quality processes to ensure knowledge sharing across the organizationOptimize data storage and retrieval to improve performance and reduce costsImplement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulationsBuild data visualization tools and dashboards to help understand complex vehicle data patternsParticipate in agile development sprints and collaborate closely with development teamsResearch and evaluate new data technologies and approaches to continuously improve our data infrastructureSupport the creation of data-driven reports and analytics for internal and customer-facing featuresYour profileBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related technical field (Master’s degree preferred)5+ years of experience in data engineering roles, with a focus on building data pipelines and ensuring data qualityStrong proficiency in Python programming, with Node.Js knowledge being a plusExtensive experience with AWS services, particularly Dynamo DB, S3, Lambda, and SQSExperience working with Databricks and SQL databasesKnowledge of data modeling, ETL design, and data warehouse conceptsFamiliarity with data quality tools and frameworksAbility to translate complex technical concepts into clear,
