DescriptionLeading Edge Aviation is recruiting for a Multi Engine Flight Instructor to join our team at our growing campus in Alhama de Murcia. We are looking for passionate and qualified individuals to deliver high-quality training to our motivated students. Working on our fleet of aircraft, you will deliver both integrated and modular EASA and UKCAA licence courses, providing expert instruction in either VFR or IFR flying, depending on your experience. Our base in Alhama de Murcia benefits from great weather and lots of daylight. Throughout the summer this allows for maximum flying time, whilst a reduced schedule is operated throughout the winter months. This role is available on either a part‑time or full‑time basis. We welcome applications from candidates who have the right to live and work in Spain.Role DutiesFlight TrainingDeliver high‑quality, engaging standardised flight trainingEnsure that course standards, training requirements and objectives are taught properly and in a timely manner, following direction from the Head of Training (Ho T) and Chief Flight Instructor (CFI) and their deputiesManage student progress appropriately and report any deficiencies to the CFIComplete all non‑flying assignments, including Duty Instructor and classroom briefings, and effectively manage students through the course, reporting any issues in a timely mannerIdentify any improvements to the practical instruction and/or Training Standards,
actively working with those responsible to continuously improve safety and quality levels within the AcademyMonitor the technical and internal status and cleanliness of all the aircraft/simulators used for training, reporting discrepancies and verifying that all equipment is airworthy and suitable for training or operatingComply fully with the orders given in the Company FCOM and ensure that students understand and comply with those SOPsComplete all other reasonable duties as directed by the Ho T and CFIFlight SafetyPromote safe behaviour (amongst students, peers and staff) at all times on the ground and in the air, in full compliance of the Leading Edge Aviation’s Safety PoliciesEnsure all students throughout the academy are taught and maintain the principles and practices of Flight SafetyActively participate in the company Safety Management System to include filing of Air Safety Reports (ASRs), attending safety briefings, and being vigilant for any perceived unsafe behaviour or actionsAdhere at all times to any other safety standards that, from time to time, may be issued, whether at the home or at third‑party airportsAdministrationAccurately maintain your own logbook as per Company/National RegulationsComplete student training records appropriately and in a timely manner, checking student logbooks as requiredAttend all administrative, standardisation and Instructor development meetings and in‑service training as programmedPlay a part in wider company life, such as attending open days and events when requestedDemonstrate and uphold the company’s core values in all actions, decisions and interactionsOUR CULTUREAt Leading Edge Aviation,
