You will act as a key clinical expert and trusted partner for surgeons, clinics, and internal stakeholders, ensuring excellent clinical adoption and technical support for STAAR’s ICL technologies across the region.Job DescriptionDeliver on‑site and remote product and clinical training to surgeons, optometrists, and clinic staffLead ICL certification processes and provide proctoring support where requiredConduct educational workshops and clinical training sessions at designated centersSupport surgeons throughout their learning curve to ensure proper clinical application of ICL technologyProvide advanced technical and clinical support for ICL calculations, medical inquiries,



and complex complaintsAct as key contact person for follow‑up on selected medical inquiries and complaint cases within IberiaSupport the clinical adoption of new products and innovations across the territoryCollaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Marketing, Regulatory and field teams to ensure alignment on scientific and clinical contentPerform regular customer site visits, maintain close relationships with surgeons and clinical teams, and document activities accordinglyParticipate in regional and national congresses, meetings, and educational eventsYour profileBachelor’s degree and proven background in Optometry, or equivalent combination of education and experience8–10+ years of experience in clinical practice and/or surgical environmentsPrevious experience in a similar clinical support or application specialist role within the past yearsStrong background working with surgeons, operating rooms, and clinical settingsFluent in Spanish as well as in English, both spoken and written, paired with the ability to adapt communication styles across different stakeholder levels and build trustful relationshipsStrong presentation, communication, and training skillsProfessional and customer‑oriented mindset with a highly organized, proactive, and results‑driven approach
