We are seeking for Firmware Security Engineer who involves in software development and support for Large Format printers, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, bug fixing, and documentation. Key skills include C/C++11/14, Python, concurrent programming, Qt-QML UI development, embedded systems, Linux, version control (Git), debugging, unit testing, build systems, and CI tools. Strong expertise in security (Kerberos, TLS/SSL, OpenSSL) and networking (REST APIs, Wireshark) is required. The job also involves troubleshooting prototype builds, assessing software impacts on manufacturing, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

- Capture of the requirements of the software component
- Proposal of the functionality of the software component
- Development, test and integration of the software component assigned
- Document and publish development work (in English)

Programming and Technical Skills:

- Programming languages: C, C++ 11/14, Python, TCL
- Programming skills: Concurrent programming, multithreaded and multi-process systems.
- Software architecture & design: Application of modern design patterns for maintainable and scalable firmware design
- Webservices knowledge: HTTP/API REST
- Embedded systems tools: Assembly (when required), RTOS concepts
- Operating Systems: Linux (embedded and development environment), Windows for tooling, MacOS
- Version control systems: Git/GitHub
- Debugging tools: JTAG, GDB, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, memory corruption/leakage tools
- Testing tools: Unit testing (Gtest/Gmock)
- Build systems: Make, CMake
- Continuous Integration tools: Jenkins or similar
- Other essential tools:
- Cross-compilers and toolchains (e.g., GCC for ARM)
- Package managers (e.g., apt, pip)
- Virtualization or container tools (e.g., Docker for build environments)

Security & Networking Expertise:

- Authentication & Authorization protocols: Kerberos, SASL,



LDAP integration for identity and directory services
- Cryptography and secure communication: TLS/SSL protocols, OpenSSL-based development, Certificate generation, management, and validation (PKI)
- Secure network protocols: HTTPS design and implementation, Secure REST WebServices
- Networking analysis & diagnostics: Wireshark (packet capture, traffic analysis, protocol validation)
- Embedded Linux distribution frameworks: Yocto (image customization, recipe creation, layer integration)

Software Support to Builds and Prototypes, including:

- Detection, analysis, follow-up and resolution of the issues (or proposal for resolution) found in the prototype build lines of the Large Format printers
- Analysis of the impact of the Software changes in the manufacturing lines and communication of these impacts to the Software teams
- Coordination and communication with all the teams involved (Software Lab, NPI, MSE, etc.)
