What you'll do

- Own the full trader journey. From the first time a professional trader hears about Bitget, to the moment they execute their first size position, to whether they stay or leave. You are accountable for the answer to one question: would a serious trader choose Bitget after using it?
- Gatekeep product prioritization through a trader's lens. Every feature decision passes through your judgment: does this make a real trader's life better, or is it dashboard decoration? You have veto authority on anything that ships under the "trading experience" label.
- Be the public face of Bitget in trader and institutional circles . Twitter Spaces, industry panels, podcasts, private group chats. You are the person in the room who sounds like a trader, not a marketer.
- Build structural transparency, not marketing claims. Translate "trust" into mechanisms traders can verify: execution quality metrics, latency disclosures, liquidity depth reporting, fill ratio transparency.
- Run competitive benchmarks against rival exchanges.



You decide what "good enough" means by comparing Bitget's vigente trading experience, latency, spreads, order book depth, API reliability, against Binance, Bybit, Hyperliquid, and whoever else matters. You bring the market's standard inside the building.
- Operate a Trader Council. A standing group of active professional traders who test, roast, and validate every meaningful product decision before it ships. You build the feedback loop that most exchanges only pretend to have.
- Align growth and marketing narratives with product reality. No claim goes public that the product cannot back up in a live trading session. You are the last checkpoint between the marketing team and the trading community's trust.

What you'll need

- You have placed real trades at scale. Not backtested. Not simulated. You have carried real size, managed real risk, and felt what a bad fill, a stale API, or a frozen order book does to a position. If you have never traded with skin in the game, this is not your role.
- Institutional trading or market-making background. Jane Street, Jump, Hudson River, GSR, Wintermute, Cumberland, Galaxy, Citadel Securities, or equivalent. You understand how liquidity is made, what execution quality means at the microstructure level, and what professional traders actually need from an exchange.




- Deep derivatives fluency. You can explain the difference between a good and bad perp funding mechanism, why sub-account architecture matters, what cross-margin vs. isolated-margin does to liquidation cascades — without checking notes.
- Existing credibility in finance and crypto-trading circles. You have a network that picks up the phone. You are already in the group chats where real traders discuss venues. You can walk into a room of market makers and they don't think you're there to sell them something.
- Public communication ability with trader voice. You can speak on a panel, a podcast, or a Twitter Space and sound like someone who knows — not a PR representative. Your words carry weight because your background backs them up.
- You have already made the identity shift from trader to operator.
- You are allergic to consensus theater.
