Ensure the governance of projects andinitiatives in terms of organisational, financial, technological andcontractual aspects, assuring the achievement of the established objectives.

Plan, coordinate and control theexecution of the project, in accordance with Client requirements, within timeand cost constraints and in compliance with HSE and Quality procedures.

Achieve profit objectives ensuring theobservance of Saipem procedures and practices.

Tasks

- Ensure, for the fabricationphase/activities performed both in internal and external yards, theachievement of the established cost, time, quality, health, safety andenvironment objectives in order to meet the contractual obligations
- Express Fabrication needs during theE&P; phase (e.g., Make or Buy, Constructability, Material Management)identifying optimum balance between time, cost and feasibility
- Represent Saipem towards Clients,Licensors, Partners and Subcontractors managing also contractual aspects
- Ensure the proper contract analysis andthe review of contractual documents
- Ensure the implementation ofmethodologies related to risk and knowledge management and to Saipem Goldenand Silver Rules
- Supervise the economic and financialtasks by defining the most appropriate methodology to be applied to producethe project economic indicators of Feasibility
- Organize and hold the project kick-offmeeting
- Define project strategies and the scopeof work of each Party (e.g. Proposal Plan, Project Architecture, ProjectOrganization, Project Execution Plan, Quality Plan, Procurement Plan, OverallResource Plan, etc.),



ensuring the project activity planning
- Approve and supervise planning and costcontrol activities supported by the other project organisation roles,implementing the corrective actions needed to achieve the established projectobjectives
- Approve and manage the project cash flow
- Define the bid cost structure and approvethe cost estimate with the support of the Estimator
- Ensure the integration of packagesprepared by each Operating Company, Partners (if any) and Subcontractors andreconcile possible discrepancies
- Manage the post-bid clarification phasewith the Client
- Negotiate with Client to reach agreementon the outstanding pricing, commercial, contractual and technical aspects ofthe proposal and of the variation orders
- Ensure the handover between Commercialand Execution Phase of the project
- Supervise home office engineering andprocurement activities supported by the other project organisation roles
- Supervise site/yard and offshoreactivities
- Supervise all project activities withregards to quality and HSE topics, supported by the other projectorganisation roles
- Ensure the issue of project reports
- Ensure the collection of projectfeedbacks issuing final project reports (e.g. Cost Closure Report, Close-outReport, etc.)
- Ensure Client assistance during theguarantee period

Requirements

- - 15-20 years of experience
- - OFFSHORE experience
- - Must monitor the schedule, be in contact with clients, takecare of the budget, work as a construction manager
