Job Title : Engineering Manager (EM)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow a team of engineers, drive technical excellence, and deliver high-quality software solutions. The adecuado candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership and people management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & People Management

- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers
- Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, and career development planning
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Hire and onboard top engineering talent

Technical Leadership

- Provide technical guidance and architectural direction
- Ensure best practices in coding, testing, and system design
- Participate in key technical decisions and code reviews
- Collaborate with senior engineers to solve complex problems

Delivery & Execution

- Own project planning, execution, and delivery timelines
- Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to define requirements
- Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions
- Manage risks, dependencies, and trade-offs

Process & Quality Improvement

- Establish and improve engineering processes (Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, etc.)
- Drive engineering metrics (velocity, quality, reliability)




- Ensure system performance, scalability, and security

Cross-functional Collaboration

- Partner with Product, Design, QA, and DevOps teams
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and leadership
- Translate business goals into technical execution

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- 6+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams
- Strong knowledge of system design, architecture, and scalable systems
- Experience with modern tech stacks (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js, cloud platforms)
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working in startups or high-growth environments
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Strong understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices
