Experteer Overview In this role you will own the firmware across Helsing’s robotics platforms, bridging hardware and software to deliver reliable real-time systems. You will shape architecture, guide technical strategy, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enable high-performing, observable robotics. The position sits at the intersection of hardware and software and offers impact through robust, end-to-end firmware solutions. - Design, implement, and maintain embedded firmware for real-time robotics systems (control, sensing, system health)
- Own firmware lifecycle from architecture to testing, deployment, and maintenance with emphasis on reliability and observability
- Diagnose complex system-level issues across firmware, software, hardware, using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analysers, and DMMs




- Serve as technical bridge between hardware and software teams to deliver cohesive systems
- Advise leadership on firmware strategy and technical direction, influencing platform evolutionResponsabilidades
- Production-grade embedded firmware experience for real-time systems
- Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded targets with CANOpenFD, UART, I2C
- Experience using hardware debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analysers, DMMs)
- Full ownership of firmware end-to-end from architecture to maintenance
