About AndesFounded in 2011, Andes Integral Trading is a leader in the Americas in the frozen and refrigerated meat trading industry, focusing on Pork, Beef, Poultry, and Vegetables.Our offices, customers, and vendors are located around the region and the globe, including 20 countries we sell to and +10 countries we currently buy from.Position SummaryThe Purchasing Specialist – Seafood is responsible for the day‑to‑day operational, logistical, and commercial execution of the Seafood category. This role ensures that all purchase‑related operations are managed accurately, proactively, and in compliance with Andes’ internal standards and the regulatory requirements of destination markets. The Purchasing Specialist – Seafood works closely with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to manage cross trade logistics, documentation, labeling, inspections, and ongoing communication with international partners. The role requires strong attention to detail, solid logistics knowledge, and a commercial mindset to support smooth operations and long‑term supplier relationships. The role requires availability and willingness to travel internationally to support commercial exposure, including attendance at industry fairs and visits to suppliers, factories, and clients, as part of the professional development within the Seafood category.Key AccountabilitiesPurchasing Operations (Non‑Quotation Activities)Logistics Management (Cross Trade)End‑to‑end management of cross trade logistics operationsBooking management and freight coordinationFollow‑up on schedules, transit times, operational changes, and issue resolutionOngoing coordination with freight forwarders, agents,
