Experteer Overview As a Kafka Developer, you will design and operate a strategic Event Stream platform built on Kafka, Kafka Connect, ELK and IBM IDR. You will own day-to-day administration, drive onboarding projects, and create end-to-end streaming solutions aligned with business use cases globally. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, scalable data pipelines and contribute to platform reliability and observability. - Own relationships with infrastructure providers and software vendors to implement new Kafka solutions
- Define best practices for streaming concepts and design appropriate architectures
- Build monitoring, observability tools and dashboards to ensure cluster health

- Support application teams, tune clusters for high availability,

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
- Hands‑on experience with Kafka components and Kafka Connect (Source u0026 Sink)
- Knowledge of integration tools (IBM IDR, MirrorMaker, Apigee, REST Proxy Producer)
- Strong CI/CD skills (Git, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform) and Agile mindset
