Experteer Overview
As Category Procurement Manager for BESS in EMEA, you will lead procurement strategy and execution for battery energy storage systems across the region. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure value, on-time delivery, and quality while optimizing global and local supply chains. You will shape contracting approaches, manage risks, and drive supplier partnerships to support large-scale renewable projects. This role offers the opportunity to impact the energy transition by enabling resilient, cost-effective energy storage deployments.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Update and implement category strategy for BESS (cells, PCS, EMS) with other category managers
• Develop and execute regional contracting strategies reflecting supplier landscapes
• Produce reports on category performance, market insights, and budget/incentives
• Identify and prequalify suppliers for BESS
• Assess supply chain risks and establish mitigation and contingency plans
• Lead RFP processes and supplier selection for long-term value including risk factors
• Negotiate supply contracts considering project requirements and regulatory conditions
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (legal, finance, development,



operations, technical) for contract development and negotiation
• Provide procurement and project status reports and manage logistics, import/export, and regulatory compliance
• Facilitate NDAs, LOIs, MOUs, and Purchase Orders per local requirements

Responsabilidades
• Strong understanding of renewable energy procurement in the EMEA region; BESS experience preferred
• Proven ability to develop procurement and supply chain strategies
• Experience in supplier selection, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management
• Analytical skills to identify root causes and present solutions
• Knowledge of construction and renewable energy regulatory requirements in EMEA
• Familiarity with BESS equipment suppliers, contractors, and procurement practices in EMEA
• Technical understanding of BESS, PV modules and HV equipment preferred
• Project management and financial analysis knowledge considering regulatory environment
