Elusav are recruiting a Senior Planner for one of Europe's largest Contractors for a Data Centre Construction Project in Zaragoza, Spain. This is one of the biggest Data Center projects in Spain & Europe, excellent opportunity to be involved in a highly prestigious project.

The Senior planner will be responsible for Developing and maintaining resource loaded schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning utilizing Primavera P6 Software. Excellent opportunity to join an industry leader with great progression potential and development pathways on offer.

Responsibilities:

- Responsible for a project or portfolio of projects (regional / sectoral).

- Responsible for all aspects of planning, as defined by the Planning SOP.

- Reporting to Planning Department.

- Reporting to Business Unit / Project Management.

- Developing and maintaining schedules for pre-construction / construction / commissioning.

- Developing and maintaining progress databases.

- Progress reporting.

- Milestone projections, delay / float path analysis.

- Earned Value Management systems.

- Monitoring schedule performance and productivity.

- Auditing progress on site.

- Attending schedule meetings, liaising with client and subcontractors.

- Preparation of tender schedules.





- Preparation of histograms.

- Supporting weekly workface planning systems.

- Resource / cash loading of schedules.

- Providing data for payment applications.

- Completing contract review reports.

- Responsibility for quality and accuracy of schedules and reports.

- Making relevant parties aware of issues and advising on solutions.

- Recording delay and disruption.

- Assisting in the preparation of claims and providing data for contractual disputes.

- Travelling to projects in order to carry out the above, if required.

- Managing, training, coaching, supporting, developing, leading staff, if required.

- Covering Planning Manager responsibilities when required.

- Covering Project Planner responsibilities when required.

- All other duties associated with role.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years' experience working in planning on large-scale construction projects.

- Be proficient using Primavera P6, Earned Value Management, Excel.

- Clear understanding of construction methodologies and sequence. xcskxlj

- Able to produce programme to plan and monitor the works from necessary information (drawings/model/SOW etc.).

- Capable of managing the planning of large-scale projects with minimum supervision.

- Be highly motivated, a self-starter & able to work well in a team on or your own.
