Experteer Overview
In this role you will lead month-end closes and statutory reporting across multiple countries, guiding a team of accountants to ensure timely, compliant financial statements. You will partner with local, regional, and HQ finance teams to harmonize PtP processes and explain deviations from the Business Plan. You will drive process improvements, ERP implementations, and ad hoc analyses to support performance. This is a hands-on, cross-country finance leadership opportunity within Glovo’s growth-driven environment.

• Supervise month-end closing and PtP processes across multiple countries
• Lead a team of 3–6 accountants, ensuring accuracy and deadlines
• Review and approve monthly reconciliations for PtP, Pu0026L, and BS
• Harmonize PtP processes with local accounting teams across Glovo group
• Ensure adherence to accounting policies and local tax requirements
• Participate in ERP implementations and finance projects
• Provide ad hoc analyses to explain Pu0026L deviations from Business Plan
• Collaborate with FinOps and other finance teams to align accounting with business




• Identify and implement process improvements in PtP workflow
• Support statutory disclosures and reporting for financial statements

Responsabilidades
• 8+ years of accounting experience in multinational companies
• People management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Accounting
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and general ledger, accruals, provisions, and accounts payable
• Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets
• Experience with SAP S4/HANA, Microsoft Dynamics, and OneStream is a plus
• ERP migration and project management experience are a plus
• Strong analytical, attention to detail, and communication skills
• Team collaboration and cross-functional work ability
