We are currently looking for a Senior Business & Data Analyst to join a leading retail organization undergoing a major data transformation initiative.
You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and data engineering teams, translating customer-focused business needs into data-driven solutions and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse business requirements
- Translate business needs into data requirements and functional specifications
- Perform data mapping, profiling, and SQL-based analysis
- Design and document data models and reporting requirements
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, BI specialists, Data Scientists and business stakeholders
- Drive testing, UAT and data quality validation
- Deliver customer insights through dashboards, datasets and analytical solutions
- Support governance of KPIs, reporting assets and business glossary
Required Skills
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst or Analytics Consultant
- Strong SQL expertise
- Experience with customer analytics, including:
- Customer segmentation
- Loyalty programs
- Churn analysis
- Customer journey mapping
- Data warehousing and data modelling experience
- Experience with BI platforms such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI or MicroStrategy
- Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
- Fluent in English and either Dutch or French
