We are seeking an experienced Board-Certified General Surgeon to join an employed surgical practice in a welcoming South Alabama community, offering a broad bread-and-butter surgery scope, strong community need, and an excellent quality of life just 90 minutes from the beach.

Position Highlights

Full-time, hospital-employed General Surgery opportunity

Scopes required

No robotics

Dedicated clinic and OR block time

Approximately 10 days of call per month

Only one weekend of call per month

Serve a growing regional area of 60,000+ residents

Practice within an 85+bed community hospital offering comprehensive medical services

Qualifications

MD or DO from an accredited medical school

Board Certified in General Surgery

Experienced surgeon required

Proficiency in general surgery procedures and endoscopy/scopes required

Comfortable practicing in a smaller community setting
