What you'll do Design and implement advanced digital signal processing algorithms tailored for communication systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications for new projects, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
Conduct simulations and analysis to validate the performance of DSP algorithms, utilizing tools such as MATLAB and Python for modeling and testing.
Optimize existing DSP algorithms to enhance efficiency and reduce computational load, contributing to improved system performance.
Participate in the integration of DSP solutions into hardware platforms, working closely with hardware engineers to ensure seamless functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to signal processing in communication systems, providing timely solutions to maintain project timelines.
Document design processes, algorithms,
and system architectures to ensure clarity and facilitate knowledge transfer within the team.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in DSP technologies and communication protocols, applying new knowledge to enhance project outcomes.
Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations for stakeholders, effectively communicating complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
Mentor junior engineers and interns, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development in the field of DSP.
Participate in project planning and management activities, contributing to the successful delivery of projects within budget and time constraints.
Engage with customers and partners to gather feedback and requirements, ensuring that our solutions meet market needs and expectations.
Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in digital signal processing and communication systems.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python, with a strong understanding of algorithm development.
Experience with simulation tools like MATLAB or Simulink for modeling and testing DSP algorithms.
Familiarity with communication protocols and standards, including but not limited to LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey technical information.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
Nice to have Experience with FPGA or DSP hardware platforms for real-time processing applications.
Knowledge of machine learning techniques applied to signal processing.
Familiarity with software development methodologies, including Agile practices.
Previous experience in a customer-facing role, enhancing communication and relationship-building skills.
Understanding of regulatory standards and compliance in communication systems.
