Role: Junior

Responsibilities

•Assist with feasibility studies and preliminary design in collaboration with the Project Engineer.

•Independently perform design studies and deliver all required drawings and documents for project execution.

•Focus on problem-solving and proactive working methods.

•Ensure quality by using approved equipment and complying with standards, methodologies, and procedures.

•Ensure consistency between their own studies and other disciplines.

•Prepare a personal study schedule (based on team leader’s planning) and report progress to the team manager and project manager.

•Collaborate closely with the Project Leader, Project Engineer, and fellow designers, providing strong support to the project team.

•Provide ad hoc support during project execution regarding delivered design studies.

•Work with external engineering firms when required, ensuring quality through review and follow-up.

Depending on expertise and experience:





•Perform quality reviews of studies completed by other designers.

•Train and mentor new colleagues.

•Participate in working groups and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Specific Responsibilities for Substation Design

•Prepare permit drawings required for applications.

•Produce detailed execution drawings, including:

oSite layout drawings

oEquipment layout drawings

oSteel structure drawings

•Prepare related documentation, including:

oDrawing lists

oTerminal lists

oSteel structure lists

Additional Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or A2 diploma in a relevant technical field (Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Automation, Civil Engineering, Engineering).

•Basic knowledge of electricity.

•Knowledge of Microsoft Office.

•Experience with 3D CAD software.

•Strong communication skills, customer-oriented mindset, team spirit, and resourcefulness.

•Excellent command of Dutch.
